Are You Making the Most of Your Current Job?

It's easy to say it's only a job. And the monetary compensation of a job is certainly a means to an end. If this is not enough and you are stressed by one too many Dilbert moments, consider what is within your power to improve your work-life.

As a result of this program participants will be able to:

1. Learn how to mine your current situation for unexpected opportunities and benefits. You'll discover ways to look at your job from another perspective, see what does work and make the most of it.

2. Climb out of your rut and enjoy the freedom of taking charge of what you want and need from your job. It's easy to get in a rut based on outdated information or old interpretations. For instance, if someone told you that you're not qualified for a job that interests you, is their's the only opinion that counts? Learn to identify your assumptions, break out of paralysis and take energized action.

3. Make use of the rich bank of resources that exists in your family, friends, and other networks. There's nothing noble about going it alone when things are not as you want them to be. Strategize about how you can look to trusted others for assistance, whether it be to help you brainstorm options or explore a new area of interest.

and much more...
