Are You Making the Most of Your Current Job?

It's easy to say it's only a job. And the monetary compensation of a job is certainly a means to an end. If this is not enough and you are stressed by one too many Dilbert moments, consider what is within your power to improve your work-life.

As a result of this program participants will be able to:

1. Learn how to mine your current situation for unexpected opportunities and benefits. You'll discover ways to look at your job from another perspective, see what does work and make the most of it.

2. Climb out of your rut and enjoy the freedom of taking charge of what you want and need from your job. It's easy to get in a rut based on outdated information or old interpretations. For instance, if someone told you that you're not qualified for a job that interests you, is their's the only opinion that counts? Learn to identify your assumptions, break out of paralysis and take energized action.

3. Make use of the rich bank of resources that exists in your family, friends, and other networks. There's nothing noble about going it alone when things are not as you want them to be. Strategize about how you can look to trusted others for assistance, whether it be to help you brainstorm options or explore a new area of interest.

and much more...

How to Develop Your Own Personal Leadership

or... Be as Self-Sufficient as Your Boss Wants You to Be

It is not about a position or a place. It’s an attitude and a sense of responsibility for making a difference.

– From Encouraging the Heart by Kouzes & Posner

Leadership is everybody's business. More and more businesses are counting on organization members to be more autonomous. Make sure you are prepared.

As a result of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Cultivate a Can-do Attitude. Learn to challenge your thinking and make resourcefulness one of your best qualities.

2. Then do... Follow through on that Can-do Attitude, i.e. deliver what is expected.

3. Distinguish Yourself through Developing a Service Orientation. Learn how serving others (with the right attitude) can serve you!

4. Empower Yourself by Owning What is Yours. Find out how the secret of owning your motives, your aspirations, your needs and mistakes can give you an edge.

5. Check Yourself. Check Your Impact with Others. It doesn't really matter how great you are if people don't want to work with you. At some point you need others, and so it matters what they think. Learn how to check out how you doing without setting yourself up for a fall.

Boost Your Work Performance to the Next Level

Note: This program can also be presented as: Get a Powerful Start in Your New Job!

Whether you are new to your job or a veteran, it’s always the right time to look at ways to boost your work performance, so your boss and co-workers wonder how they ever got along without you!

As a result of this program you will be able to:

1. Nail Down the Fundamentals -- In other words, clarify what success looks like for your position and deliver on that!

2. Make Your Relationship with Your Boss Work For You -- Whether you have a boss you think you can work with or not, it is worthwhile to strategize on how to make the best of it.

3. Distinguish Yourself -- This may be a no-brainer, but just in case… people like to work with people who are helpful and low-maintenance.  Through this program you will learn what works and what doesn't when choosing to distinguish your performance and be seen as a team player at the same time.
